Amanda is an excellent counsellor and helped me enormously whilst I was seeing her last year. I have been through a number of issues in my life and Amanda was quickly able to identify some of the main problems and help me work through them and set me the number of exercises, new habits and targets which I'm still using to assist me in my progress.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amanda services to anyone else and look forward to seeing her again in the future

I’ll keep this short - if you need a counsellor Amanda Burbidge is your person. Empathetic and discerning, while also down to earth and practical. Boy does she know her stuff!!

I couldn’t recommend this Therapist enough! Amanda has helped me tremendously over the last 12 months and I will forever be grateful for the impact she’s had on my life and my new way of thinking. Two friends of mine are now attending sessions and also speak very highly of her. Thank you Amanda for listening, for the guidance, the patience, the homework, the tissues and the mints!

I approached Amanda last year in the hope of working through some of my own anxiety and addiction issues. Amanda is very easy to talk to and knows her stuff. She set up a good balance between letting me figure things out at my own pace and instituting practical solutions with which to move forward. Overall, my time with Amanda has been really beneficial, and I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with their mental health.

Amanda came to me my aid when I was at my lowest. She was the first person to offer help and support in my hour of need. And ever since she has been there to provide professional and practical advice at every step. She has been a sympathetic and understanding guide to help me through this difficult journey. I am not sure what I would have done without her and would recommend her to anyone who needs support to get their lives back on track.

I decided to see a counsellor because I was feeling stressed and I knew that I needed help in understanding it before it became unmanageable. Before my first session with Amanda I was nervous because I was worried that all of my problems weren’t really that bad and I was just being dramatic. Amanda was lovely and I told her all of the things I thought were making me stressed but the main topic was not what I had expected to talk about. Amanda saw what I couldn’t and helped guide me back to reality - sometimes you need to let out the old before you can process the new. I have had counselling before but Amanda was different because I felt she helped me in such a genuine and structured way. Before my counselling sessions I felt lost and I now feel excited for the new year and how I will approach things.
